How can I boot into pure dos with XP-Home?
With W98 when I needed to delete a file which was denied access within
the S I could boot into pure dos remove the attributes and delete. With XP-Home I seem unable to create a boot disk which will allow access to the hard drive- the boot disk created by right clicking on the A-drive only allows the system to point to the A:\ prompt! What additional files must I copy across to allow me to see C:\ prompt? -- Michael Clements |

Here is a tool which you can install to you hard drive, which gives you choice of entering pure dos during booting.
It actually installs a virtual floppy drive with a MS-DOS image. And its a freeware. More info and download search for "virtual floppy booter" on Digg |
