How to I destroy microfilm securely?

How do I destroy microfilm securely?

A paper shredder doesn't do the job and I am
not allowed to burn things.

The microfilm is silver based black and white,
so that is my primary concern. However, if
you know how to clear diazo that would also be
nice to know. (I think diazo comes in two flavors,
one of which can be destroyed with a reasonable amount
ultraviolet light, but the other type has been stabilized and
I don't think can be destroyed without a long term
exposure to UV.)

Can the emulsion be dissolved with commonly available
chemical that aren't too dangerous? For example,
cooking vinegar would be K , but not 28% acetic acid.

Can household bleach (sodium hypochlorite) be used
to do the job?

If not, will the bleach used during the processing
of color reversal film (i.e., slide film) work. This
might be more dangerous than cooking vinegar, but less
dangerous than 28% acetic acid and might come in a
form that didn't involve diluting 28% acetic acid.)
