Java Real Time catching on, but what about for Windows OS?
Java Real Time is catching on but is still only for Linux or Solaris.
Anyone know if we will see it come out for Windows? some something like a
"Real Time .NET" ?
No, I don't mean a windows RealTime extension like from Ardence (RTX) or
Tenasys (InTime), but a fully Microsoft offered, integrated, and supported
RealTime upgrade for XP and Vista making RealTime determinism available to
NET applications? If Microsoft could pull that off, it would maybe blow
the competition away completely!!!!
In the meantime though, anyone know of any FREE, Source, Experimental,
or Trial-Ware; that gives Real Time for Windows? Even just a high-speed
Timer component (or CPU/Hardware specific modification) that can F
something with 10us-100us determinism under Windows???
