Trouble with Items Much TV Fusion card
Hermann,
Thanks for the info. No luck in any of those places, sent card description to bttv-gallery.de . Robert, Thanks, also. No luck with your settings :(. Seems you have Manli Much TV cards, which are somewhat different. Mine is an earlier board, also by Itemstech (IT - 0002, if I remember correctly), and has somewhat different chips on it), All, Is there a detailed writeup on how to write a driver? I'm ready to start, but, as they say in the v4l-wiki, "getting the required info is non-trivial". Also, I can provide the windows driver files if anyone is interested, as well as a tech manual for the IR controller. Even though my box and labels all say Spirit, the Windows s/w mentions Much TV and Fast TV. The Spirit card actually exists in at least two slightly different versions labelled on the PCB (main diffence seems to be the tuner) IT-005 Rev:B1 (cannot read tuner label at present) IT-005 Rev:B2 This board has the closest match to your description Tuner is TCL2002MB-3 2K4 023 Neither has an eeprom, so they cannot autodetect. I have one of each card and have found modules.conf/modprobe.conf settings that seem ok: options bttv card=10 tuner=29 options bttv card=10 tuner=37 respectively. I am in Australia using PAL. They come with an IR remote, but I've not used that yet. Cards work under 2.6.8 (Mandrake 10.1) and 2.4.22 (Fedora) kernels, and with xawtv, tvtime and fbtv. Robert Dixon Yahoo!
