New: Replace function with regular expression
You are receiving this mail because:
You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. Summary: Replace function with regular expression Product: kate Version: unspecified Platform: unspecified S/Version: Linux Status: UNCNFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NR Component: general AssignedTo: kwrite-devel kde org ReportedBy: dmoyne tiscali fr Version: 2.5.2 (using KDE 3.5.2, Kubuntu Package 4:3.5.2-0ubuntu0breezy1 breezy) Compiler: Target: x86_64-linux-gnu S: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.12-10-amd64-k8 Let us assume I want to add a tab char in front of all lines starting with "1 " I can search the regular expression "^1 " but then I cannot insert with the Replace field "/tab" as replace cannot use regular expression ! Am I confused if I ask for a regular expression feature for the Replace field or can this be achieved otherwise with the present Kate features ? Regards.
