c++0x common_type patch
Hi Chris,
thanks for the updated patch. The __typeof__ workaround makes me really nervous, I don't think we want to use it in new code, I'm wondering if we should instead wait for 36628 to be dealt with properly I just want to make sure this is intentional and that common_type isn't expected to try every permutation of the given types. this is also interesting. Did you consider raising the issue on comp.lang.cmoderated? Paolo. |

I haven't, only because I've been going on the assumption that
this is intentional and haven't seen the issue raised anywhere else. I'll bring up the issue to the moderated ML and see what the gurus have to say. Thanks, I'll follow the thread. Let me take care first of std::ratio Paolo. |
