How does the Healing work?

I had this listing
+25% HP $115 Band-aid and a kiss on the forehead.
+40% HP $104 Show the cashier your money and recieve whatever you can afford.

I was at 199/460

I did the 40% one and got full health. Is it 40% of your total HPs? Or 40% of what you don't have?

40% of total, I think. It is pretty confusing either way, though.

Yeah, this is one of the mysteries I havent delved into yet. If you think THIS was confusing, you should see the logic they use to determine what level you are. Reverse-engineering it to show the NEXT level was an exercise in long-unused trig.

It is on my list, tho.

Hear is how healing calculation done

Heal Cost = HPMAX – HP = 460-199 = 261

Heal Percent = (HPCost/HPMax) x 100 = (261 / 460)*100 = 57%
(You need 57% of healing to get full HP)

New HP = HP + (HPMax * HealPercent)



You will have this option only if you don’t have enough money to get full HP
Show the cashier your money and receive whatever you can afford.

If you select above option, Healing cost and percentage will recalculate

Heal Percent = User Money / Heal Cost * Heal Percent = closer to this = (User Money / HPMax)x100
(by assuming you had about $185 cash in your pocket)
= 185/460 = 40 %

Heal Cost = (Heal Cost ) * Heal Percent
= (261 * 40 / 100) = $104

New HP = (MaxHP / Cost) * User Money
= 460/261*185 = 326

Note
In the actual calculation, there are lot of number rounding, to explain everything simply I ignore those over here.

Calculation error in above formulas are fixed now, healing cost is now independent from money you have in your pocket.
