Please recomend on a compression

Hi,

I'm looking for a compressor package for compressing large amounts of
binary data (sort of an image)

The guidelines are:

1. Lossless
2. Visual studio compatible, preferable written in C# or other VS
language.
3. *Fast* decompress.
4. Good (can be slow) compression.

As for now I'm using LZ but its Dot.Net support is problematic
(P'Invoke unsafe \ 64bit) and the compression ratio isn't so good.
While the decompress should be very very fast I can alow a very slow
or resource demanding compress stage.

open source would very apprichiated but not mandatory.

Any recomendations ?
