Send an event from the Portal Driver

Hi,

From the Portal Driver we can execute the following "do" methods on the
PortletContainer object: doAction, doAdmin doLoad, doRender, and
doServeResource.

Where is "doSendEvent"? I mean, how can I send an event from the Portal
Driver (say from the DriverServlet) to one portlet?

I would really appreciate some pointers here,
